If you would like to arrange a table please do so quickly as it looks like the event is going to be a sell out.
Their will be a large number of handbags to auction including a brand new Mulberry bag, handbags and memorabilia from the Three degrees and handbags which have been donated by Deborah Meaden and Lorraine Kelly, to name just a few.
The event takes place on Thursday 15th September at 7pm and tickets are £20, including an informal dinner. However, tickets are expected to sell quickly so please contact them on email@example.com
The group will be leaving the Bleadon Hall Car park at 12 noon and copies of the menu are now available. Can you please sign up at the next monthly meeting if you want to join in?
Unfortunately they did not manage to achieve the largest number of people but the event will hopefully raise vital funds for Brain Tumour research over the coming months.
The WI have been asked for volunteers to help on the day and we are looking for members who may be able to serve teas and coffees and man the Bouncy Castle. If you are interested can you please contact Michelle through the WI email?
The WI's Walkers will be off on their next excursion on Friday 17th June. The trip will begin at Bishops Lydeard Station where they will take the steam train down the line to Crowcombe Heathfield.
The walkers will then journey through Crowcombe Village and stop for lunch at the Carew Arms before returning, on a slightly different route, back to Bishops Lydeard. The walk is approximately three and a half miles and is mostly country lanes and fields.
I understand fine weather has been ordered so it should be a lovely day!
If you have any old or unusual items you would like to show Toby can you please contact the committee as the number of items is limited.
